Born in Peru, Marcela C. Rodriguez studied law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, obtaining Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Law from that prestigious university.
Her specialty was in Consumer Law, working with great success as a member of the User Management team of the Telecommunications regulatory entity in Peru, OSIPTEL, for more than five years.
Marcela came to the United States on an F-1 student visa and completed a Master’s Degree in Communications from Florida International University (FIU). After interning under Optional Practical Training (OPT), your employer applied for an H-1B work visa. After a few years he processed his Permanent Residence. For each of these immigration legal processes, Marcela sought help and advice from immigration lawyers, which is why she has experienced firsthand the long and complex immigration processes that can cause stress and uncertainty for the immigrant.
After completing a Master of Comparative Law (LLM) from the University of Miami, Marcela worked at the immigration and naturalization law offices of Immigration Attorney Michael L. Work in the city of Miami Beach with a group of excellent professionals.
She is currently a Licensed Attorney in the state of New York and practicing exclusively in the area of Immigration and Naturalization Law. Because these areas are regulated by Federal Law, Marcela can represent clients with immigration and naturalization cases throughout the United States. Marcela is a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), the Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). Marcela has experience in Family and Employment Petitions, Non-Immigrant Visas, Processes Naturalization and Labor Certification (PERM), as well as VAWA cases.
